Are you on the look-out for a laid-back, family event complete with food, drinks, music and vendors? Then do yourself a favor and add the Arthur Market to your calendar in 2022!
After taking a short drive northwest of Fargo; good ol’ small-town North Dakota charm awaits you in Arthur. The market takes place in the park (the only one in town) with a playground that you can see from all angles of the market (ideal for parents). You will find both sheltered and open seating are available, with plenty of space to set up chairs or blankets so you can make a day of it.
I attended the market last fall with my kids, parents and Grandma and we all found something to love. Local coffee, beer, food and baked goods were all a hit (food and drink vendors vary each event). Local musicians performed (also varies), while people shopped the vendors and enjoyed food/drink and conversation.
I spoke with Arthur Community Coordinator Jeremy Nelson, and he loves “creating opportunities for people to come together,” and has “a huge heart for local businesses and side hustles.”
